Jerry Island — "Niet Nodig" Official Video

Overview

For Jerry Island's official video for "Niet Nodig," we took on the full creative process ourselves — writing, stills, and production, all in-house from A to Z.

Challenge

A music video lives or dies on story, not just visuals. Rather than executing someone else's script, we needed to write the story ourselves and carry it through to a finished, cohesive video.

Solution

We wrote the script from scratch, developed the concept around a recurring visual motif, and shot the whole video on location in Amsterdam — handling direction, cinematography, and stills ourselves throughout.

Production Process

Scriptwriting and concept development, on-location filming around Amsterdam with a small cast, stills captured alongside the video footage, followed by a full in-house edit, color, and sound pass.

Deliverables

A complete official music video for "Niet Nodig," plus supporting stills from the shoot.

Results

A full demonstration of end-to-end creative capability — writing, directing, shooting, and producing a complete narrative music video ourselves, without an external script or brief to execute.
