Terms of Service

1. About us

This site is operated by Authentic Social Studio, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 95812520, VAT number NL867315465B01, based at Van der Madeweg 11, 1114 AM Duivendrecht, the Netherlands. These terms apply whenever you book the studio, submit a production inquiry, or otherwise use this site.

2. Studio rental bookings

Submitting a studio booking request is a request to reserve the studio, not an automatic confirmation. Once submitted, we generate an invoice covering the room rate for your selected duration plus any add-ons selected, and email it to you with payment instructions. Your booking is confirmed once we've reviewed the request and payment has been received; we'll contact you directly if there's a scheduling conflict. Full-day bookings are quoted individually rather than priced automatically.

Cancellations or reschedules need at least 5 weekday days' notice (weekends don't count toward that window). If you don't show up for a confirmed booking, the full booking fee is forfeited.

[confirm] Whether any prepayment is refundable when a cancellation falls inside that 5-weekday window isn't defined yet.

3. Production booking inquiries

Submitting a production inquiry (photography/videography services) is a non-binding request for us to get in touch about your project. No booking, contract, or fee is created until we've separately agreed on scope, pricing, and scheduling with you.

4. Payment

Studio rental invoices are payable by bank transfer to the IBAN shown on the invoice, using the invoice number as payment reference. All prices shown exclude 21% Dutch VAT unless stated otherwise; VAT is added on the invoice.

5. Use of photos/video we produce

You own the photos and video from your shoot; we retain a license to use the work ourselves — for our own portfolio and marketing — unless we've agreed otherwise with you.

[confirm] The exact scope of that license (how long it runs, and the sign-off process before we publish your work in our own portfolio) is still being finalized.

6. Liability

We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this site or our services, except where such liability can't be excluded under Dutch law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent Dutch court, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your place of residence.
